Name of The Post: Sailors Senior Secondary Recruits Batch 01/2017

The Indian Navy is a well balanced and cohesive three dimensional force, capable of operating above, on and under surface of the oceans efficiently safeguarding our national interests.

The Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) exercises operational and administrative control of the Indian Navy from Integrated Headquarters of MOD(Navy). He is assisted by the Vice Chief of the Naval Staff (VCNS) and three other Principal Staff Officers, namely the Deputy Chief of the Naval Staff (DCNS), the Chief of Personnel (COP) and the Chief of Material (COM).

The Navy has the following three commands, each under the control of a Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief:- 

The Western Naval Command (Headquarters at Mumbai).
The Eastern Naval Command (Head quarters at Visakhapatnam)
The Southern Naval Command (Headquarters at Kochi)

Qualification: The candidates who are applying must possess 10+2/ equivalent examination with Maths & Physics and atleast one of these subjects Chemistry/Biology/Computer science from recognized board or Institute

Age Limit: Aspirants should have been born between 01 Feb 1996 to 31 Jan 2000 (Both dates inclusive).

Selection Procedure: Indian Navy Sailors selection process will be done based on Written test, Physical Fitness test and Medical exam conducted by Indian Navy Selection board

Application Fee: Applicants no need to pay any application fee for this Indian Navy Sailors Notification 2016

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will take monthly Stipend Rs.5700/- at the time of Training.  After successful completion of training, candidates will get monthly pay scale of Rs.5200-20200/- with grade pay Rs.2000/- plus MSP Rs.2000/- plus DA
