Prince Mahesh Babu’s Brahmotsavam Review & Rating

Prince Mahesh Babu’s Brahmotsavam is one of the highly anticipated films this summer. Billed as a clean family drama, Brahmotsavam is directed by Srikanth Addala and produced by Prasad V Potluri. The film has Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal and Pranitha Subhash as the female leads and also features many familiar artists in crucial roles. The audio composed by Mickey J Meyer has received a superb response.

The first half of the movie is heavy on the family sentiment, trying to portray the complex relations and joy that can only be found in a big joint family. The second half where Mahesh Babu is determined to find his ancestors going back seven generations could have been better established. Few scenes at the interval and climax are really good.

Story :

Satyaraj, a rich industrialist, runs a popular paint factory in Vijayawada. His utmost priority is to lead a quality life with his joint family and celebrate religious festivals on a lavish scale. Following the footsteps of his dad, Mahesh Babu grows with same philosophy of family first and a positive attitude towards life. The joint family comprises of four brothers and a brother-in-law (Rao Ramesh). All of them run the family business together.

Rao Ramesh, father of Pranitha Subhash, thinks of marrying his daughter to Mahesh Babu. Meanwhile Kajal Aggarwal , daughter of their family friend, arrives from Australia for a two month vacation and joins the family. The story then takes an obvious turn and differences occur between Satyaraj and Rao Ramesh. Rest of the story is how Mahesh Babu resolves the family troubles.
