TSPSC Excise Constable Recruitment Examination 2016

PROHIBITION & EXCISE CONSTABLE IN EXCISE DEPARTMENT

Telangana State Public Service Commission has been invited online applications to recruit the Prohibition & Excise Constable of Excise Department of Telangana State. There are total 340 vacancies available in Telangana StateExcise Department. 

The eligible candidates can apply through online only via the official website of TSPSC @tspsc.gov.in and any other mode of applications will not be entertained by TSPSC for this Prohibition & Excise Constable Recruitment 2016. 

Selection for this recruitment will be held based on Computer Based Written Test or OMR based test, Preliminary Qualifying test and Physical Efficiency Test.  EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

 Applicants must possess the qualifications from a recognized Institution as detailed 

below or equivalent thereto as on the Date of Notification. 

1 Prohibition & Excise Constable in 

Excise Department 

Must have passed Intermediate or its 

equivalent examination. 

Physical Requirements:- 

i) For Men:- (a) Must not be less than 165 Cms in height. 

                     (b) Must not be less than 81 Cms round the Chest on full expiration with a  minimum                                          expansion of 5Cms; 

 Provided that in the case of Candidates belonging to ST’s where the required quota cannot be fully utilised for want of sufficient candidates possessing the requisite height, it may be relaxed by 5 Cms. So that it shall not be less than 160Cms. 

ii) For Women:- (a) Must not be less than 152.5 Cms in height. 

                            (b) Must not weigh less than 45.5 Kgs.
