A R Rahman Received Japan’s Fukuoka Prize 2016

India’s multi Oscar winning musician and composer A R Rahman is not only popular in South Indian film industry but also popular for his creative work in  Hollywood movies. He  received Japan’s Fukuoka Prize on 30th May.

This Fukuoka Prize was established in 1990 by the combination of Fukuoka city and Yogatopia foundation,  to the honour of their outstanding work of individuals and organizations to preserve and promote the unique and diverse cultures of Asia.

 A.R. Rahman is one of the well known music directors and he has specialty that A. R. Rahman composed music not only for Tollywood and Kollywood even for Hollywood movies also.

A R Rahman has composed the music for various Indian movies like including “Raavan,” “Yuvraaj,” “Rockstar” and “Rang de Basanti” and for Hollywood movie “Elizabeth: The Golden Age,” “Slumdog Millionaire” and “127 Hours”.

Popular Music Composer A. R. Rahman started his career with the film ‘Roja’ which was a Tamil movie directed by veteran director Mani Ratnam. Even this ‘Roja’ movie is also dubbed in Telugu language also.
