Singer, songwriter Demi Lovato and actor Wilmer Valderrama have officially broken up! Demi and her longtime boyfriend decided to split after dating for six years. Demi took to her Instagram account to share the news with the rest of the world. The couple who dated for six years made this announcement with a joint statement online. It is yet unknown why the two much-in-love couple decided to part ways after so many wonderful years spent together.
The ex-couple have released a statement saying, "After almost 6 loving and wonderful years together, we have decided to end our relationship. This was an incredibly difficult for both of us, but we have realized more than anything that we are better as best friends. We will always be supportive of one another. Thank you to everyone who has offered us kindness and support over the years."
The duo were very open about their relationship in interviews and on social media.
"He's very manly, and he can be stubborn...but he's protective and he cares so much. I've been blessed enough to have him in my life and not just as my man, but also my best friend" Demi Lovato gushed in an interview.
"We've bene together this long...obviously I'm not going anywhere," the star claimed on The Ellen Show.
