In recent Google Hangout with ICAI president, he said that CA exams will be tough from 2016. Last attempt (May 2015) ICAI declared very low pass percentage that means we have to do more hard work. I’m not saying its very tough to crack CA IPCC exams. I’m saying that “Yes! you can pass CA IPCC exam, if you have conceptual knowledge with effective preparation only.

To get conceptual knowledge, you should follow proper study plan from 3 months. CA IPCC exams November 2016 are coming closer. So we have sufficient time for exam preparation. ICAI already declared that CA IPCC results Nov 2015 will be declared on 31st Jan 2017. Here we are giving CA IPCC Study plan for CA IPCC Group 1 / Group 2 / Both groups preparation in 3 months. How To Prepare For CA IPCC

Things to Keep In Mind When Starting To Prepare For CA IPCC: After clearing the CA CPT (Chartered Accountancy Common Proficiency Test), students can appear for Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC). IPCC is the second level of the CA (Chartered Accountancy) course conducted by the ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India). It’s considered to be one of the toughest examinations in the country. But this tough course can be tamed and you can get through it easily. For that you should keep some important tips in mind.

How to Pass CA IPCC Exam, Important Tips: Depending on the Teacher or your Coaching for your success is a laid back attitude. So challenge yourself and first help yourself it’s only after that the teacher can help you.

Understanding what you have learned is more important than learning itself; always keep that in mind while studying.

Don’t at any point lose confidence in your abilities. Never doubt yourself.

Find and work on your weak subjects till they are as good as your strong ones.

Do on ICAI Study Material, Practice Manuals and RTP’s well, because paper is set from these, solve Mock tests too.

Without depending on your Teachers notes read the best books.

Rather than mugging up everything analyze what’s important and prepare it to the fullest.

Accounting- Be conceptually strong. Remember different accounts statements format. Be fully focused in the class.

Law- Concentrate more on ethics & communication, they require less time and fetch more marks. Differentiate between logic and content of every act.

Costing & Financial Management- in Costing, pay attention to theory and also try an understand application of each formula. Preparing for Financial Management you should focus primarily on theory.

Taxation- Listen and understand concepts and revise them regularly. Prepare all types of problems and pay attention to amendments.

Advanced Accounting- Same approach as accounting should be adopted but you should focus more on partnership, branch accountants, bank accounts, electricity etc.

Auditing & Assurance- Revision is a must to do well in this subject. Attentively revise auditing, vouching & verification.

IT & SM- Both in IT & SM it’s important to revise frequently and link the concepts with examples you can relate to and also keep in mind.

How to Pass CA IPCC Exam

Utilize the ‘Brahma Murat’ (4.00 AM to 6.00 AM) and studies early morning. Get up early at 4:00 AM. Be ready to study till 5:00 AM.

5:00 AM-7:00 AM – Read Theory

7.30 AM-10.30 AM – Read Theory

11:00 AM-1:00 PM – Solve Practical Problems

5.30 PM -8:00 PM – Read Theory

10:00 PM-12:00 PM – Read Theory

*Note- In the time not mentioned you can relax yourself. Stay away from Mobiles, Television, and the Internet.

Study Plan for CA IPCC– 1st Revision

No. of days = 45 days (One Month + 15 Days )

Daily preparation hours = (12+1 ) = 13 hrs.

Early Morning- Previous Day revision

Devote time to subject depending on your weakness

Before going to bed – Revise All Days Studies

No. of days = 15 days

Daily preparation hours = (12+1) = 13 hrs.

Study Plan for CA IPCC Exams

Prepare thoroughly for your exams well in advance. Give at least three hours to your studies while doing article ship.

When on leave 14-16 hours of your day must be invited in the preparation.

Stay away from Mobiles, Internet and Television at least while studying.

Student must study from study material and solve the given problems. If in doubt about anything refer to a standard notification.

First, the students should solve the question papers for the last five/six years without taking the solution help. After solving the full papers you should look at the solution. This way you can analyze your mistake and also understand the pattern of the question paper.

If you don’t know the correct section in the law paper, avoid writing the wrong one.
