When the rapper and the reality star's romantic lives converged in 2012, the Internet could not have been prepared for the kind of frenzy these two would inspire in their years together. Between babies and coordinating Balmain, an Italian wedding venue and dual Vogue cover, their union has looked like the stuff romantic dreams are made of for years. 

Take, for example, the "Famous" artist's grandiose proposal to his longtime friend. West presented a 15-carat sparkler to his then-girlfriend with a full orchestra behind him in the middle of a privately-rented baseball stadium, a jumbo screen famously reading "PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!" behind him.

As West recently celebrated his 39th birthday, Kardashian took to social media to honor her life partner and all that lies ahead for them as a couple.
